Still have big wing and splitter. Trimmed the car out for this track. Front windows are now installed and are quick release. This forum has awesome faces:Emiel wrote:What happend with that huge rear wing?

The night before our last race at Pocono we were in the shop doing an alignment and suspension setup as it was supposed to rain. Went to adjust the rear rebound and noticed the adjuster would only spin, not click like usual. Was told to not worry about the click, just count rotations in the meanwhile. The rear suspension never felt right during the whole weekend, however I was assured that every bolt was tight and it should be ok. Went and dropped the rear shocks tonight to get them sent out for inspection...Right rear shaft snapped, left rear shaft bent. At least we were able to finish the races at Pocono to collect points!

And still a point finish?
Looks like your using full travel and the shocks took all the load. And otherwise the quality must be really poor. My shock only look that way when I hit a tree. But that is on a mountainbike then

Overnighted the rear shocks to Indianapolis...estimate to repair tomorrow.

Good news is that Ohlins USA has all the parts in stock...should have shocks back on Monday/Tuesday. Supposedly they are bulletproof shocks, and the company was quite amazed when I sent them back. Seem to be taking a very heavy side load force...

Car is all back together. Started the car tonight to load into trailer as we planned on leaving for track Thursday 10AM; no throttle pedal with very rough idle. Off to dealership bright and early to most likely replace ETM.
