The race car is a tool, however it needs to reflect a good image upon us, as well as the whole Volvo community!

It is amazing how well the car is spec'd into the competing class we run in. Little modifications were needed to be a top five finisher, just need to dial in the suspension perfectly for it to be a top winner.

Want to also keep the historical value of the car as well!

Now to finish gearbox assembly, perform a gearbox swap, complete/bolt the rear suspension, by 1 March. Then it is off to the body shop.

Removed the spare M56H (w/Quaife) today and reinstalled lightened flywheel, Sachs sintered clutch disc and pressure plate. Unfortunately have to wait on a 1st/2nd shift fork and shift fork rod from Tractive in Sweden.

Rear suspension subframe will be finished up this weekend, and still waiting on gearbox parts from Sweden.

In the meantime, mounted and wired up an electric drink bottle activated by the windshield washer stalk.

Finally got the rear subframe back in the car, but still need to make some adjustable trailing arms. Made the modifications to the rear control arms to allow camber adjustment to be quicker/easier. Tires came in, and uniforms/tshirts/jackets are on order. Tractive parts finally came in, but need to get the differential torque specs from them tomorrow. Also got IPD as a marketing partner. Body shop hopefully by this weekend.

Gearbox rebuilt and buttoned up earlier today. Mounted the Michelin rain tires on the new set of OZ Ultraleggera's that came in.
